    Welcome to EYFS!

Our Early Years provision consists of our Little Explorers room for children aged 2–3, our Nursery provision for children aged 3–4, and two Reception classes. Each area is led by qualified teachers and Early Years practitioners, supported by experienced Teaching Assistants and apprentices, who work together to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for every child.

Our NEW Little Explorers room provides a warm, home-from-home environment where every child is valued and supported. Children receive high-quality care while enjoying a wide range of exciting opportunities to explore, play and develop through meaningful experiences.

Throughout our Early Years provision, we provide a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where children can build confidence, develop independence and begin their learning journey with us.

    Homework

Homework will be set every week (on a Friday) via Class dojo with a focus on an area of the EYFS curriculum (PSED, Physical, Communication and Language, Literacy, Maths EAD, UTW). You can return the homework by the following Friday via Class dojo so we can see it. If you require paper copies of the homework, if appropriate, please just let us know. We would also encourage you to read at home with your child at least 3 times a week and practise their phonics sounds with them on a regular basis using the Supersonic Phonic friends Newsletter.

Here is how we say the sounds of each letter of the alphabet:
