Welcome to Key Stage One. We have two classes across the Key Stage. Year 1 is taught by Mr Greathead with the support of Mrs Leech. Year 2 are taught by Mrs Gray and Mrs Wright with the support of Mrs Smith.

Clubs for the Summer term

Clubs run from 3.15 – 4.00pm and can be booked on Arbor. 

Monday:

POP UK club- Mrs Leech and Mrs Booth

Tuesday:

Forest school club- Mrs Heaps and Miss Phillips

Thursday:

Phonics Club- Mrs Wright and Mrs Alcock

Our PE days:

Year 1 PE days: Wednesday and Friday.

Year 2 PE day: Friday (double PE session on this day with Time for Sport).

Pupils may wear their school PE kit to school on these days with earrings removed. Children should have their book bag, reading book/diary and a named water bottle in school each day.

Homework

Homework will be set every week (on a Friday) via Class dojo with a focus on either writing or maths. You can return the homework by the following Friday via Class dojo so we can see it (or on paper). Paper copies will also be sent home. We would also encourage you to read at home with your child at least 3 times a week and practise their phonics sounds/spellings with them on a regular basis using the Supersonic Phonic Friends Newsletter and word list.
